OLD CELLAR AND TAVERNA
On the ground floor of the main building, the oldest part of the property , are the two rooms once hosting the crushing activity ; they are now used :
- one, with centuries old oak beams, to age the wine in oak and chestnuts barrels and , in a separate small room to store olive oil.
- the other, as a common dining room with vaulted ceiling , traditional furniture and a big open fireplace.
This part is connected with the ample traditional kitchen (with beamed ceiling, stone sink and fireplace ) of the main apartment, trough the original stone stair .
